Extending from 6:00 AM to 3:00 AM, suitable for users with different daily routines. Free from excessive decorations, with ample writing space, perfect for recording schedules, writing diaries, and expressing emotions.
Grid and Note Page
3.5mm Grid
All grids are drawn with very light dashed lines. One square is suitable for writing in English, while two squares in height are suitable for writing Chinese characters.
Functional Grid Note Pages
A total of 4 note pages, designed as supplementary appendices. The format has been redesigned to include triple dividers and crosshairs for positioning. The matrix-style "5x5 solid grid" allows for quicker grid counting, making note-taking more convenient than ever.

This is my 2nd time purchasing TAN regular A5 and I really looked forward to this purchase since late September. The layout works for me because it's very similar to the layout I used to draw when I was still doing bullet journal. My unboxing experience this year is very satisfying, I noticed too that they changed the packaging for this year and this just feels more premium. Great job!

2026 will be my second year using the TAN A5. I’ve lived it this year as a personal journal. The layout is perfect forhandwriting, stickers and washi tape. As a neurodivergent and a writer, I always needed some sort of journal-planner-notebook hybrid to organize my daily life. For years, all I ever used were thick dotted journal ntbks (compariso in mid picture) and I create my own layout for calendars, lists and to-do because I find pre-dated planners available in malls include so many unnecessary parts in the daily pages like quotes and drawings. I don't really need that and would rather you leave that occupied space for me to write on. The 2 days per page layout is also the format I have been doing on my prev ntbks so I am already familiar with that. The only thing new to me is the thickness of the pages as this is the 1st time I will be using TRP.
I picked this 2025 planner the moment I saw it has the most spacious and intuitive design out of all intl planners I found online, just exactly what I need. They also ship very promptly.

The Take-A-Note planner is well-designed, with each week spread out over four pages, giving the user plenty of room to schedule events and take notes. There is a week-at-a-glance section for pre-planning, with a small monthly calendar at the beginning of each week. I search annually for a new layout, but I find myself returning to Take-A-Note every time. This year, I received a version that I did not order, and the customer service was excellent. A new planner was sent immediately. I genuinely appreciate this level of service.

This is my new go-to planner for memory keeping. I used to use the weekly pages of Hobonichi Cousin but the extra space in the T.A.N. gives me more room for stickers and notes. I Love it!

Closest to the Hobonichi planner I have seen by far. I would have kept this planner had I already not bought my Hobonichi. I gave it to my daughter as her Christmas present and she loved it. I’ll be purchasing this for myself next year. The week section is not a full two page spread. There isn’t a daily section .. which is fine for me since I don’t write as much.

This planner is perfect for me. A half page per day is all I need. The paper is luscious. I love that when you open it anywhere, it lies completely flat. I love the layout and the tracking and monthly pages. There is nothing about it I don’t like. I will be buying one every year.
