2027 MINI PLANNER A6

Sale priceNT$600

2027, Make Space for What’s Yet to Come.

Small enough to carry every day, yet complete enough to hold a full year. MINI A6 brings yearly, monthly, and weekly planning into a compact format for schedules, brief reflections, and the small things worth remembering.

Designed to work across language preferences, MINI A6 uses English or Chinese-English bilingual weekday labels where needed, while retaining Taiwan public holidays, lunar dates, and solar terms. A small planner for everyday life, wherever your year takes you.

A Year, Written in Your Own Way.

Make Space. Let Life Take Shape.

TAKE A NOTE has chosen a near-white cover again after many years.

Clean white lets a new year unfold at an unhurried pace; a green reminiscent of licorice and olive brings a simple, comforting note to everyday life.

Some things are already planned; many more have yet to unfold. We make space. The rest belongs to life.

Designed for Different Languages.

Familiar Calendar Information, Open to More Readers.

On pages that previously used Chinese-only weekdays, MINI A6 now uses Chinese-English bilingual labels or English weekday names and abbreviations.

Taiwan public holidays, lunar dates, and solar terms remain included. Familiar calendar details stay close, while the planner becomes easier to use across different language preferences.

Within Structure, Leave Room for What’s Yet to Come.

Recognised by the GOOD DESIGN AWARD

TAKE A NOTE REGULAR PLANNER has been recognised by Japan’s Good Design Award.

Its subtle grid lines and clear layout create a balance between comprehensive information and the freedom to write. The structure gives each user a place to begin, while leaving enough room to adapt the planner to individual needs and habits.

From yearly direction to daily records, every page is designed to stay clear without asking you to fill it all at once.

Paper Chosen for Writing.

68 gsm white Tomoe River S paper is light, smooth, and well suited to fountain pens, pencils, ballpoint pens, and other everyday writing tools.

Exposed-thread binding opens flat at 180 degrees, allowing the planner to rest comfortably on the desk for effortless writing across each page.

The Quiet Beauty of Paper.

The white cover is made from finely textured paper, preserving its natural and gentle feel.

Minimal foil stamping leaves only what is essential. Rather than filling the cover with decoration, it lets the paper, the open space, and time itself take centre stage.

In your hands, it is a planner. On your desk, it is a quiet beginning to the day.

See the Whole Year Before You Plan What Matters.

Yearly Calendar and Horizontal Annual Gantt Chart

The yearly calendar spans from September 2026 to April 2028, while the horizontal annual Gantt chart covers all of 2027.

Use them to map travel, projects, habits, important dates, or anything that benefits from a longer view of time.

Give Long-Term Plans a Clear Place.

Vertical Annual / Project Plan

Four pages of vertical annual and project planning divide 2027 into easy-to-read sections.

Use them to track project progress, build habits, plan travel, or record the rhythm of life in a way that makes sense to you.

Leave Room Between the Months.

16-Month Monthly Plan

The monthly plan runs from December 2026 to March 2028, covering 16 months in total.

Taiwan public holidays, lunar dates, and solar terms remain included, while weekday labels are presented in English or Chinese-English bilingual formats where needed. Weekly plan page numbers make it easy to link each month with daily records at a glance.

Beyond your schedule, there is still room above, below, and around each page to organise life in your own way.

Connect the Months with Each Day.

Two Days per Page Weekly Plan

The weekly plan covers all of 2027, with two days per page and four pages per week.

Mini monthly calendars, mini weekly calendars, English weekday labels, and a vertical timeline are integrated into each page, making it easy to locate the current week and plan time around your own routine.

The vertical timeline runs from 6:00 a.m. to midnight, leaving the page ready for schedules, notes, and daily records.

Writing Today, You Can Still See Where You Are.

Mini Calendars, Timeline, and Grid

The mini monthly calendar shows where the current week sits within the month.

English weekday abbreviations appear alongside Chinese weekday information in the mini calendars, keeping the rhythm of the week in view without requiring you to turn back to the monthly plan.

The vertical timeline runs from 6:00 a.m. to midnight, accommodating different routines. A 3 mm grid provides clear guidance, so schedules, journals, lists, work notes, and collages can sit comfortably on the same page.

Let the Year Take Shape, One Page at a Time.

Notes and Index

Four pages of grid notes are reserved for thoughts, lists, and additional records that do not belong to a particular date.

Page numbers support indexes, bullet journaling, and other personal organisation methods, so scattered notes can be found again when you need them.

A 2027 letterpress calendar bookmark card is included with every planner.

2024 is my 2nd year using Take a Note planner and I don't think I could or would even like to change to any other planner at this point. I have used mine everyday since 2023 and by August of that year, I already pre-ordered my 2024 planner with the canvas cover. Together with the cover, the planner is sturdy af! I can throw it in my bag with all my other stuff and it doesn't even look beat up. It's worth every penny. I swear.

The paper quality is amazing! The paper is thin enough to keep the planner light and not bulky, but even then ink almost never bleeds to the other side. I could use any gel pen or highlighter without worrying that it might show through the other side.

The format has been very efficient for me to use as well. I use a pencil board to mark the month page and it makes it easy to go back and forth from the current day and the month pages. No matter how full my day gets, I seem to always have enough space in my pages and even if I don't, I could fit so much post-its on it.

I am 8 months into using my current one and it's still in great shape even with everyday use. The threads never come loose, the pages are all intact, no tears or ugly edges even with constant or reckless flipping. It's amazing! I could never go a day without mine.

Normally I wouldn't go for an A6 planner as they're so little, but I've been using this little gem as an academic planner all year and I LOVE it!

A Planner for Reading

This will be my reading journal for next year, and it's the perfect size to fit in my planner bag. The paper is excellent to write on, and I really enjoy the way the days are spread out. Really looking forward to putting this to use!

Love the layout

Love the layout, love the paper, love the binding. The A6 is understandably more cramped than the A5, but the smaller writing area means you have to be more specific about what you’re writing.

It's exactly what I needed to get back into daily journaling and a more affordable option without sacrificing quality!

I want to open by saying that there are many things I like and that the review reflects my abilities. Ordering and receiving was easy. I like the paper which takes fountain pen ink well. I like the design and quality of construction, including the lay flat and binding. My eyes are not good enough to see the small font and the faint font color without holding the planner very close. The main reason for the 3 rating: I thought it was a week view and, in fact, it shows either 3 days or 4 days. Because the fonts are so small, I have taken to adding the day of the week manually. I don't like the layout and will likely rip out the pages I have used and use it as a notebook and find another planner that is more friendly. So, bottom line, it is a planner for one with better eyes who can tolerate a different layout. Sorry

Great layout and paper

Love the layout and paper in this planner. I also got the cover and like it as well. It ended up being to small for me sadly. Would LOVE this layout in the B6 size. Liked the layout so much I ordered the A5 size to tryout.

I really like the layout of both the slim and the A6 and the paper is really good quality too. The quality of the books themselves are beautiful they both lay flat and the A6 has lovely perfectly layflat binding. I am really looking forward to using these planners in 2025.

This was part of my first Take A Note purchase and I am smitten. I purchased the A5 size as well. I have not used that one because I loved the A6 size so much. It is absolutely gorgeous, nothing other than a clear cover to protect it. I use the 2024 calendar bookmark that is included with the purchase as my monthly bookmark. I use this to track my expenses and upcoming events that may affect (effect?) my expenses. I love that it can fit in my Peg&Awl small canvas tote without issue. It's not bulky. Lays flat. The print is light, but still legible. The layout is perfect. I love seeing the full week and still have enough vertical space for each day and I am typically not a fan of vertical layouts. I will definitely purchase this planner again in 2025, if it doesn't sell out before I have a chance. Would recommend to anyone that is looking for a minimal and functional planner that allows for creativity. I don't use fountain pens, but gel pens have worked beautifully, especially the Sharpie gel pen. Highly, highly recommend for anyone looking for just enough space and doesn't have a ton of things to track.

I’m using it to track home maintenance; filters for the furnace, fireplace service etc.

I love this planner. The compact size is perfect to take while traveling for work. I love the weekly planner at the start of each week to track my meetings at a glance and then the daily pages to track all my daily tasks.

I have both the A5 and A6 versions of this planner. I absolutely love the paper. It‘a so much better than Hobonichi and it’s fountain pen friendly as well. Gel inks dry up quickly on this paper. The layout flows so nicely that it works for my scattered brain because it’s simple and I can reference the task easily. There’s a weekly overview page which helps a lot. I’m so glad that they started selling this planner on Amazon. I have been ordering mine from their website the past few years but now I can get it right away through Amazon! Win win!
